Which directory do files transferred to the sftp land?

Hi guys,

As the topic says, where do csv files transferred to Campaign via sftp land?

We have been provisioned sftp access to campaign and have loaded test files that we want to pick up with a file collection, as far as I can tell this is in the /incoming/alexb/ folder as per winscp below.

However I'm unable to find this directory in campaign.

Please advise how to collect this file in campaign.

Thanks

Tried several directories, none of which work

Hi David,

Thanks, that does allow us to access the directory. However for the file collector activity, I now have the following error (screenshot below).

I want to be able to change the settings so:

  1. I don't delete the source file when it's loaded
  2. If I do need to delete files, edit the permissions (for other source files)?

I don't see how to do this anywhere for the file collector activity?

Hi Hungy,

It is because of permission issue.

You can set the permission of the file from Winscp or curl command.

It can easily be done by Winscp.

Select the file in Winscp -> Click Properties or F9 -> Set the Octal to 0777

Try to run the workflow and see the result.

Hi Hungy,

1. This is how file collector is working per default. It's not technically deleting the file but it's moving it to another directory. You can even use a folder on your SFTP

2. Deb is right. You have to configure permissions on Winscp. You can also limit the permission only to Adobe Campaign user which should be neolane or to all users that have access to SFTP.

Thanks
