What Qualifies as "Default" in Breakdown of Opens Report?

Avatar

Level 1

I am currently looking at reports for an emails delivery and in the Breakdown of Opens Report there is a section labeled "Default". Why are certain ones being classified as "Default" while others are "Firefox" and "Internet Explorer"?

Additionally, the are a large number of observations coming back with no label. What is causing this issue?

Thank you.

Hi,

That report uses the tracking cube, which sets browser to be a combination of user agent's browser name and version.

AFAIK the values come from parsing tracking request headers, using xtk option NmsTracking_UserAgentRules as a rubric.

Thanks,

-Jon
