Services to run in app and web server in a hybrid model

Avatar

Level 1

Hi All,

I am implementing a hybrid hosted model for one of a client. Application servers would be withing clients environment and adobe would be hosting the message center and mta/inMail. Architecture is as below. As you can see in the below diagram, there are 4 on prem server( 2 web and 2 app). Want to know what services would be enabled/disabled in the web & app servers? And what ports ( apart from 80,443 and DB port) to open on both the servers+Load Balancer?

Thanks

Himanshu

Hi,

The services are listed in your diagram, under the italic names.

Web servers:

web

Active app server (1):

web, wfserver

Passive app server (2)

web

Ports are 80, db port, nas port (e.g. nfs), and 443 if https is being used.

Thanks,

-Jon
