Hi There,

I am trying to set up an automated export from a workflow to a Google Drive and I wanted to know how I can do that ?

Do I need to use a file transfer activity or a data load activity or something else ? Can you please explain how to do that?

thanks in advance for your help

Hi @Terry25 ,

As already mentioned in replies, you can't directly send a file directly to Google Drive, but there is workaround.

Export file and send it to your email account as an attachment(gmail address of drive account)

Refer below post to autosave gmail attachment to google drive

Although It is always recommended to use SFTP and avoid sharing data files through email.

Hi ,

You can set up an automated export to be sent to your email address .

In this case you don't even need a SFTP .

Just take out the required output columns in a JS ->build the email content and send an email with a file attachment .

Hope this helps.

Hi Anita,

The file is too big to be sent via email.

Hi Terry,

In this case you will need to send the file via SFTP as you cannot send it directly to the google drive.

Hi manojk62306941,

yes I’ve been that. I have asked you if you could kindly provide me an example of JS script to insert in the workflow in order to perform the upload into google drive.

thanks
