Low Success Rate

Hi All,
Our delivery success rate is very low for some domains, deliveries were failed due to the below reason.

Messages queued (dynamic flow control).
Messages queued (quotas met).

I've gone thru the below document as well but still unsure what needs to be done to increase the success rate for those domains.
https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/campaign-classic/using/sending-messages/deliverability-manag...

Please find the screeshot of DX Rule for one of the domain. Is it causing the issue? Please help

Hello @ukender ,

the messages are queued because the email provider is not accepting this much volume. You will have to lower the volume defined in messages per hour for this domain.

You can read more about this here: Key points when managing deliverability in Adobe Campaign Classic

Also, If you are using the enhanced MTA then these MX rules won't work as these are managed by the MTA itself depending on your historic data.

More information on enhanced MTA is available here: Adobe Campaign Classic Enhanced MTA

Thanks,

Manoj

Hi @Deleted Account, Thank you for the suggestion. Could please let me know how to check whether we are using advanced MTA?

Hi @Deleted Account,

Thank you so much for the link, it had the details. Our application is hosted on primise. so enhanced feature is not applicable for us.

Could you please guide me, What would be the right value (decrease) to get the higher success rate.

@ukender. You will to test and try because this value will differ for each domain and instance.

Hello,

there are several levels for the MX values.
The faster is "boost" ( contact Adobe support about that)

I don't recommend using the  enhanced MTA.
You will lose the raw values of broadlog messages.

Hi Pascal

Thank you for the response. Could you please elaborate about the Boost?
I have reduced the MX rule values and tried the below comment in the server. but still we are facing the same issue. delivery success rate is low.

nlserver stat -reload

Do I have to do anything else to get the higher success rate?

Thank you

and also it is possible you got these messages because you are rejected by the distant server (did you check with the postmaster@) ? or due to a network problem (IP reverse, IP binding)

Hi Pascal

(did you check with the postmaster@)  - We have tried sending mail to info@web.de but there is no response from them.
due to a network problem (IP reverse, IP binding) - The mails are delivered to those domains but some part of users are getting blocked.

It would be great if you could guide us in fixing this issue.

Thank you
Ukender
