Direct Mail Seeds from table other than nms.Recipients

Avatar

Hi all,

I have a workflow that pulls it's recipient's contact data from a table other than Recipients schema. But when I add seed templates in "To", I noticed the default seed templates seem to exist within the recipient schema and wondered if this is causing a conflict. When the output file is generated by the DM delivery, all the recipients are present, but it duplicated records where the seeds should have been - any ideas how I can get my seeds to populate in the file?

Also interested to hear if you have had a similar experience and what you done to resolve this. Thanks in advance

Hi,

You need to extend the seed schema to match your custom recipient schema. See the Adobe Documentation Seed Address. The example is showing how to do it for email but it's almost the same process for DM.

Thanks,

David
