postupgrade on default instance

Hi Team,

 

While doing a build upgrade which among the following command should we run as part for postupgrade,

1. nlserver config -postupgrade -allinstances
2. nlserver config -postupgrade -instance:stage -force
 
Do we need to do postupgrade on "default" instance separately if we don't run "nlserver config -postupgrade -allinstances" command and instead run only a particular instance like "stage"?

it is not needed after these steps to do the same for "default"
