If an email is sent from Message Center and bounces, does a flag get added to the Recipient (or whichever relevant) table in the Marketing instance to ensure that that recipient isn't contacted again?
Or does Message Center not "speak" to the Marketing instance in this way?
Thanks
Tom

Hi,
Recipient flags (@blackList*) store user-specified opt-in info, not deliverability. The non-deliverable table (nms:address) is recipient-agnostic and tracks the deliverability of addresses.
If a message is bounced from Message Center (or if it's sent when it was supposed to bounce) the marketing instance will notice it and update its non-deliverable table accordingly, post-sync.
Thanks,
