Offline data scale

Hi Team,

We are seeing that our offline data is not performing well on online.  Is anyone else seeing a similar issue and if so, is there anything we can do with the profile merge rule to better that?  Currently, we have current authentication enabled.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,

Is the ID sync working fine? Could you check the ID Sync Trait i.e. data source linked trait for the data source. See if it has good number of devices.

You can search that under traits with exact name as that of data source.

What's there in the device type in Profile Merge rule?

Make sure correct data source is being used in Profile Merge rule. If you are only concerned with visitors who will come online going forward, then use last auth or current auth with Profile Link Device Graph option.

Thanks for replying to this thread.  Can you please send me a screenshot on the trait data source that you are talking about?  If you mean the data source connected with the trait, then it is assigned to IDFA for iOS and GAID for Android.  When it comes to trait population, there is more than 100 000, however, when we look at our ad server, the scale is very minimal. Would enabling 'Non-Authentication' on the profile merge rule help in these kind of cases?  Also, do you have any suggestions in terms of troubleshooting for IDFA/GAID data as well?

Hi there,

The name of data source synced trait is exactly similar to data source name.In order to search for it,type in the data source name in search bar and the data source synced trait for that particular will appear.For e.g.

Data Source Synced Traits track all of the users associated with a data source. Data Source Synced Traits are useful for troubleshooting.If your selected trait returns data, that indicates the ID synchronization process is set up properly and pushing data to Audience Manager.

Also when we talk about offline data,we always talk in terms of CRM Id associated with a customer.Updating the profile merge rule to no authentication means authenticated profiles will not be considered during segmentation.
