Hi Team,

Wanted to understand if there is a process workflow or some documentation available around the topis - Pushing audiences created in AAM to Google's DCM for media targeting, specifically Display.

The project I am working on right now has a client who serves media ads via DCM and has tasked me to build audiences in AAM to enable efficient targeting.

My question is, once I have the audiences built, How do I push them into DCM or target those audiences using DCM? Any inputs on this and documentation that you can share will be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Amar

Amar,

DCM is an ad server and as the name suggests, it hosts ad tags that are retrieved in real time when a buy/sell happens in display. In order to identify which audience qualifies for this ad, the audience targeting takes place on the DSP (Demand Side Platform) or SSP (Sell Side Platform) or Exchange network. Audiences from the DMP (Audience Manager in this case) need to be pushed to these platforms and not DCM.

My recommendation is for you to understand from your client on what DSPs, SSPs or bid managers they utilize that need to be hooked into AAM to receive audiences to influence their media buy and sell.

Does this make sense?
