Hi,

As per the documentation splitting of large inbound file can be achieved with below format.

The following examples show properly formatted file names. Your file names could look similar.

  • ftp_dpm_478_1366545717.sync.1.gz
  • ftp_dpm_478_1366545717.sync.2.gz

But i am not sure whether it could work for uncompressed files with the format "ftp_dpm_478_1366545717.sync.1". Because when i save the file with this format it doesn't seems to be a sync file. Please suggest me splitting and saving the large file for this format, will actually works.

@keerthivasanj96056092 Yes it should work, I've just checked our database and can find many instances of this split format on uncompressed files .. (*.overwrite or *.sync files)

keerthivasanj96056092 I think this needs a full investigation and would be better suited for a support ticket. Please email our 'amsupport@adobe.com' support alias with the full details so we can look into this more in-depth.

hi actually we are tested this file with sandbox environment (https://bank-beta.demdex.com/) . I am providing some of the sample ids which already made id sync with production environment, but the same has been uploaded in sandbox and it is not matching with AAM ID. Just wanted to know why and how this is not synced with aam id.

keerthivasanj96056092 I'm not sure what you mean when you say you extracted IDs from the unused signal report as this is not part of that report but essentially having no matching AAM IDs usually means there's no ID Sync when the user authenticates. As a result the declared / CRM ID is not getting associated with a device ID.

Please see the following post for more suggestions Why I am getting "No Matching AAM UUID" after ingesting inbound data files ?

Thanks Christophe_Jossic, now i can find the files are processed and stored records successfully. But one more question is, why i can't find none of the ids are matched with AAM ID. We use sandbox environment for uploaded these files. We don't find similar case like this in production.

So could you explain me more how this could behave in sandbox environment. All ids we extracted from sandbox environment unused signals. But still none of the ids are matched with aam id. Expect more understanding on this.

Refer highlighted files in the screenshot.
