Hi Team,

 

How do I create a trait to track clicks in AAM?

You need to check your analytics implementation.

 

Some sites process a link click as a separate event from any subsequent page load. 

e.g. https://www.benjerry.co.uk/

You will see a set of key-value pairs that identify a link click. In the example above check evar 43 and evar 42

 

Some don't.

e.g. https://www.eurosport.co.uk

In these cases you will not be able to identify a click in AAM without additional tracking events in the analytics implementation.

I saw this link, however, it doesn't really show how to create a click tracker trait.  Is there one we can look at?
