What does Adobe Analytics offer for site search SEO?

Hi, I'm trying to do research on different analytics programs and I was wondering what Adobe could offer for improving my site search.

I am struggling to find information about adobe analytics's site search SEO program in the product description. If there is help with SEO, could someone describe what it offers and send a screenshot or something? Thanks!

Hi Dwight,

Welcome to the Community!

I am not sure if I clearly understand your requirement. If you are looking for a SEO analyzer software, I don't think Adobe has any. As far as Adobe Analytics is concerned, it can surely give you some insights which you can use to improve your site SEO. For example, you can find out the search keywords used on your website - https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/reference/reports_search_keywords.html

H TanmayM, thanks for the response

I'm looking specifically for things that help you improve the SEO of your internal site search, not the SEO of how well your website does on google. So like a metric of the top keywords people use when searching your site using the website's internal website search. Does adobe offer anything for that?

EDIT: After looking more into it it looks like you have a custom conversion tool called "eVar" that tracks user conversions that can be applied to your internal site search, but it doesn't offer any super detailed site search analytics. Is this accurate?

Hi Dwight,

There is an option " Custom Traffic Report " in Adobe Analytics were you can create a custom sProp for capturing internal search keywords. This is very useful for analysing keywords when a user visits your site and type in the search box of your website.

Custom Traffic reports allow each organization to report on additional dimensions that are not implemented by default. Custom Traffic reports can be used in several ways, most commonly to measure traffic and pathing : https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/reference/reports_custom_traffic.html

Custom Traffic Variable (s.prop)

Hi Dwight,

Adobe Analytics can definitely capture what people are searching in your internal website search (using eVar which are just custom variables). However it will provide you with only data and no SEO specific insights. Adobe does not have any dedicated 'SEO analyzer' product offering if thats what you are looking for.
