Hello Adobe Community !

Yesterday I was making some tests on a new conversion Variable, and I noticed something I was'nt aware of .

Basically, I did a test, then I closed my tab and window, then I made another test on my evar value - and all within 30 minutes.
I believed that a new visit was going to be counted after closing the tab or window - but my results showed a single visit.

So, the definition of visit is :

"Visits: The number of sessions within a given time period. A visit is defined as a sequence of consecutive page views without a 30-minute break, or continuous activity for 12 hours. They most commonly consist of multiple image requests, however visitors that bounce can consist of a single page view."

Is this a normal behaviour ? Or maybe I'm doing something wrong on my workspace analysis ?

Cheers !

Hello,1230474_pastedImage_0.png

Yes it does !
That was yesterday, now I'm seeing more visits that what I expected ( instead of one visit, i get 3 visits) I thought It had to do with your answer to my follow up question, but my results are all on the same hour it seems ! And I also have 3 Unique visitors, when I'm the only one.
So either someone is also testing with the same Id ( I have a prop hit segment on that Id), or maybe I have to wait so the visits and unique visitors are processed so I get the correct number.
