Hello Adobe Community !

Yesterday I was making some tests on a new conversion Variable, and I noticed something I was'nt aware of .

Basically, I did a test, then I closed my tab and window, then I made another test on my evar value - and all within 30 minutes.
I believed that a new visit was going to be counted after closing the tab or window - but my results showed a single visit.

So, the definition of visit is :

"Visits: The number of sessions within a given time period. A visit is defined as a sequence of consecutive page views without a 30-minute break, or continuous activity for 12 hours. They most commonly consist of multiple image requests, however visitors that bounce can consist of a single page view."

Is this a normal behaviour ? Or maybe I'm doing something wrong on my workspace analysis ?

Cheers !

Yes it clarifies,

I was sure it was this but it's so counter intuitive - so the Exit page dimension and metric are given after 30 minutes of exiting the page !

Follow up question :
So, as a gedankenexperiment, if data is sent to the servers every hour, and it takes 30 minutes of processing, visits that start 29 minutes before the batch are counted on the next hour ( as in the Hour Dimension)?
