I have enabled one eVar5 as merchandising eVar with product syntax. It is defined in all the rules where s.products is defined. And the value of eVar5 is hard-coded. But I am seeing an issue with this eVar5.

-- seeing "unspecified" in report , even with metric as instances of eVar5.

asheeshp Yes , that was already handled in s.linkTrackVars . The "unspecified line item also attributing to events as well. When the user added the product , we are firing event2 in s.events , and s.products will have productID and eVar5 as prod category. The image request containing both event2 and s.products=" ;123;;;;eVar5="clothing"; . When I run eVar5 report and put event2 as an event i am seeing some unspecified count to event2 and some with properly attributed to "clothing" line item in report. Note that eVar5 is hardcoded in products syntax in launch.

Have you added eVar5 in s.linkTrackVars= 'eVar5';  Probably it should solve the issue - s.linkTrackVars

Thanks,

Asheesh
