I have paid search detection on. However, all the search engine reports are coming as unspecified and display the same number for visits and other metrics.
Any suggestion on what could go wrong here?

The Paid Search Detection Rules would populate only your Search Engines - Paid Report and help you in your Marketing Channel Processing Rules. The ideal metric to be used against such reports would Searches.
