Hi All,

I am planning to take up Analytics Business Practitioner Exam / certification. Which adobe account should I use the one which I use for office (adobe analytics login) or should I create a personal Adobe account? My doubt is if I leave this organization can I move the certificate to my personal account ?

If your organisation needs to count your certification to satisfy its Partner relationship with Adobe, then you must take it with the Adobe ID that is associated with your organisation's email address.

When you change organisations, you would have an old Adobe ID using your previous organisation's email address, and a new Adobe ID using your current organisation's email address. You can then write to certif@adobe.com to ask them to merge the certification profile of both Adobe IDs. That is what I had done, and here's my email to them:

I’d like to merge my Adobe Credential Manager profiles.

First name: xxx

Last name: xxx

My current Adobe ID is name@new-company.com

My previous Adobe ID was name@old-company.com

Adobe ID to merge all accounts into: name@new-company.com

Exams that have already been scheduled using my previous Adobe ID: [exam and date], [exam and date]

After the merger has completed, you will be able to see all of your old certifications when you login to the Solution Partner Portal with your current Adobe ID.

Having said all of that… you can use your personal email address with Credly (formerly Acclaim), the site that lets you get your certification badges. In Credly, update your secondary email address to use your current organisation's email address.

Hope that helps!
