unique event within a session

Hi All,

May I know if it is possible to record the number of unique events occurs within a session?

For Example:

- I am using event1 to record client applied a filter in a search result

- I would like to know how many visits have the event1 triggered e.g. If a visit applied the filter twice, I would like to count 1

May I know if it is correct for me to use the Event1 as the dimension and Visit as the metrics to count the above?

Hi Tom,

You can do it with calculated metrics.

Create a hit segment "event1 exists". Then create a metric, add Visits and the segment on top of it. This new metric will return the number of visits the event1 was set in regardless of how many times (1, 2, or more).
