Tableau and Adobe Analytics (direct) integration

Avatar

Level 8

Is there a direct connection (as in Adobe Report Builder or some API) from Adobe Analytics to Tableau (https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/content/resources/en/exchange/marketplace/apps/Tableau.html)?

Yes, we can export data to Tableau using the right Tableau format in data warehouse and we can even schedule the data using ftp, but that still requires manual work to do the feeds. And that's why I'm asking about the "direct connection", is it available or not? And any other insights are appreciated too, thanks.

At this time there is no standard Adobe Analytics to Tableau 'direct connection'. Data Warehouse can download data exports in the Tableau .TDE format.

I know there is Tableau integeration interest from other users and I recommend upvoting in the Idea Exchange to bring to the attention of Adobe Product Management: http://ideas.omniture.com

I can answer to my own question. :)

I found these discussions:
http://community.tableau.com/thread/157185?keywords=adobe%20analytics
http://community.tableau.com/message/292559#292559
http://community.tableau.com/message/285816#285816

So I guess there isn't any kind of "direct connection". :(

However, I also found these tips and some kind of detour, but maybe not so easy to do.

But if someone has more insights about this, please comment. Thanks.

Hello!

I just saw your question. Did you find any solution?

My company recently built a connector which can help you connect Adobe Analytics to Tableau. This connector, called the Cognetik Cloud Connector, is available for free public use. Here is a link that might help you. It also easily integrates with marketing platforms missing from Tableau, such as Adobe Analytics, Facebook Ads, Facebook Pages, Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Kochava and Youtube.

You can try cognetik as there is no direct connector for Tableau and Adobe Analytics.

hey there,

the company I work for actually released a free web data connector that brings Adobe Analytics data in Tableau, called the Daexus Catalyst Connector.

It's ultra secure, only runs on users computer, no download or sign-up needed.

You can find more information on how to access it on our website, and I'm happy to answer any questions.

If this is still relevant, the company I work for (Daexus) released a free web data connector for Tableau - no sign-up required and it only runs on users' computers - www.daexus.io/products - let me know if you have questions on how it works, I'll be happy to help.
