rule components in sequence

Hello -

We moved our property from DTM to Launch as synch and we also implemented Target as synch. Later based on Adobe recommendations in this document (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/launch-learn/implementing-in-websites-with-launch/configure-...) we have enabled "rule components in sequence" feature, which created a site flicker. What we have noticed is Launch property was set in synch, but Target started to load as asynch creating flicker. When we unchecked the "rule components in sequence" feature it created a global analytics collapse on our site thus we enabled it back.

I am wondering when this feature should be used?  Do we need to uncheck it if our property is set as "synch"? What is the best practice to uncheck it safely? And what are your recommendations in solving the flickering issue?

Thank you!

Hi @zhosann,

Adobe recommends async deployment of Launch library. Help Doc: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/tags/client-side/asynchronous-deployment...

If you still see any flicker, I would recommend to post your question under Target community for further help!

I guess I would like to confirm when "rule components in sequence" feature should be used. Should it be checked when the property is set synch? Or should it be only used when property is asynch. Thank you!
