Report Builder - How to Change Weekly Breakdown from Mon-Sun to Sun-Sat

Hi Everyone,

 

We have a question regarding Report Builder.

 

We are trying to breakdown some data on a weekly aggregate level, wherein a week is counted as Sunday - Saturday.

 

However, the weekly aggregate provided by Report Builder is only Monday - Sunday...

 

How do we change this?

We've noticed there's a way to do a Rolling Weekly, and you can specify a day of a certain week you wish it to start on, as well as a day of a certain week you want it to end on... however this has not worked.

 

We also noticed there's also another way to customize using the format 'cw-2w+6d' - 'cw+5d'.... however this also has not worked.

 

Any help or advice on how we can get the Sunday - Saturday weekly aggregate, would be much appreciated.

If you want to change the definition of the week in Report Builder then there are two approaches to achieve this.

1. Create a custom date range. You can create a custom date range by following the below steps.

2. Another option is to customize the calendar at the report suite level. For more information on customizing the calendar, you can refer to the below link.

Please note customizing the calendar will not only change the week definition for report builder but for other Analytics tools as well & the change will only apply to the data that is received after you make this change to the report suite but there will be no impact on the historical data.

Hi @SDJCox ,

Analytics reporting tools use the calendar settings for a report suite. The week pattern follows the same setting. You can always modify the setting from the report suite settings in the Analytics UI; though it would modify the calendar across all the tools.
