Issues connecting to Power BI with Analytics account

Avatar

Hello,

Client: Telenor

One of our users is not able to connect Adobe Analytics to Power BI desktop. When she choose “get data” and try to log in to Adobe analytics from power BI, it stops at this page after she have typed her email address.

I am able to use Power BI with my user, so it seems to be a problem with her user. However, I checked her user access and she should have access to access that. She did have access before, but after migrating to Federated ID (from Adobe ID) she started to experience problems.

Do you know what is wrong, is there something that is blocking? Perhaps other clients have experienced the same problem?

@Makli_88 Here's a workaround to resolve this:

1. In a separate browser navigate to this link. The link is defined with the client_id used by the Power BI Desktop application that you need to authorize with Adobe.
2. Login with your Adobe ID.
3. The Authorization page will appear. Authorize access and then close the browser window after it progresses to a blank screen at "https://oauth.powerbi.com".
4. Then go back to Power BI Desktop and you will be able to successfully log in with your newly authorized Adobe ID.

Hi @Makli_88

I would suggest you raise it to customercare@adobe.com , so that analytics technical engineer can pick it up and look into it in detail and help you out in resolving this issue

Thanks for helping! She is still not able to connect, but I have raised a support ticket now - if we find the solution, I will post it here:)
