Is there Compare Dates function for Key Metrics Report?

Hi,

I find that compare dates function is very useful for comparing the performance of the website. However, the function is limited to certain reports only.

On the other hand, there is trend chart for all the calculated metrics comparing today data with data of the previous day and data of 1 week prior. It would be great if we can change the date of the comparison data.

https://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/sc/user/index.html#Compare_dates

The above link says that we cannot use this function for trended report.

Therefore, what do you think is the best way to compare key metrics report of different date range as we have comparable campaigns running at different time in a year?

Thank you!

CunnYong,

One thing you might try is to create a dashboard with the metrics you are interested in comparing, bringing the metrics into multiple reportlets, then selecting different date ranges for each reportlet. You could bring your metrics into as many reportlets as you need, for example, and set up different date ranges such as last 30 days, last 60 days, last 90 days, etc...

Just one idea, perhaps others will add more.

Hi Tyler,

This is what we have been doing with key metrics reports by using 2 charts to compare one metrics of different date range. But, those trend charts look great.
