Days Since Last Visit - 0 days vs. diff in visit #

I'm trying to determine the number of days since last visit (DSLV) to a page.

When you use the Days Since Last VIsit dimension, the options don't add up to the original unique visitor # (or visit #). For example, if you take the visits column, there were 397K visits to the page, but there are only 192K associated with the DSLV dimension.

Why is there the 397K-192K difference, and what can we say about them?

Might help answer the question- is "0 days" first-time visits or people who have returned in less than 1 day?DSLV.JPG

After adding an additional "first time visit" segment, I was able to confirm that the "0 days" is same-day visit, and the difference between the two values is the first-time visit
