Adobe Insight Queries

Hello,

I have a couple of queries regarding dimensions in Insight.

1 ) If I am using multiple query string parameters and concatenating all the values to create a dimension, is there a maximum limit to the number of such query string parameters that can be used ?

e.g.

QS(1) = A1 ... QS(2) = A2 ... QS(n) = A(n)

The transformation concatenates the values in Dim1

Dim1 = A1¦A2¦A3¦....¦An   ........... Does (n) have a upper limit ? Whats the best practice around this ?

2 ) What is the maximum possible length(in terms of # of characters ) for any element of a dimension ? Can i have an element that is 2000 char long ?

Many Thanks!!

Hey Konal,

There is no set limit to how long/many you can make the query string.  But understand that the longer you make it, the more of an impact on Log Process Performance there will be.

Hi All,

Would appreciate in case someone can let me know if the above is possible /advisable ?

I apologies in case these sort of questions are not to be posted on this forum.
