Low Traffic in SiteCatalyst

Hi,

Just wondering how low traffic values are considered when used in:

  1. Segments: If I create a SiteCatalyst/Discover segment where some entries from Low Traffic meet my segment conditions, will all those entries available in my segmented report, or only the values that are visible in SiteCatalyst UI are considered in segments?

  2. Classifications: Same question as above - If I create an auto classification rule, will all those entries be classified, or only the values that are visible in SiteCatalyst UI are classified?

Thanks
JM

Great questions...I've updated the help topic to (hopefully) clarify this. Short answers:

1. Only values visible in the SC UI are considered. Also, if something is low-traffic on Monday but is in reports on Tuesday, the segment will only include the Tuesday data.

2. Only values visible in the SC UI can be classified. If something gets enough traffic to be reported in the UI it can be classified from that time until the end of the month when everything resets.

In general, low-traffic values are invisible to everything except data warehouse.

Great summary.  Is there a way to export the low traffic values, for instance GUIDs?
