I am working with the Livestream API. I wanted to know if I have to keep the connection open all the time in order to get the data?
The doc says
"Reconnection Process
If the connection is closed, you can reconnect to the same endpoint and continue processing the stream. If the reconnect request is received within a few minutes of disconnect, the stream starts at the last record received."
Here, before how long can I reconnect to get the stream from the last record? Can I connect after couple of hours? Could you please provide me the exact timeframe?
My aim is to not keep the connection open all the time since it will be a huge overhead for us. Also, we do not want to lose any data when the connection is closed so we want to reconnect within the timeframe to avoid data loss.
