Global Company ID?

Avatar

I've inherited my company's Adobe Analytics administration with very limited cross training. I now am in need of my "company global ID".  Where can I find that in Adobe Analytics Admin?

Awesome jmr56795410. Thanks for confirming.

So when you the access token is generated, you may want to go through its details. Within the details, you will find a field called ProductContext which will basically contain access details of all the companies that your Adobe ID/Fed ID has. Somewhere within it, you will find a parameter called "global_company_id" and the value will be the global company ID you are looking for.

Please note, you may find multiple companies/Experience Cloud Orgs listed depending on your access. Ensure you pick up the company ID for the company on which you are trying to make an API request.

Hope that helps!

Hi jmr56795410,

Could you share the objective where you need company global ID? Are you trying to use API or something similar?

Please share the details and I'll try helping.

Thank you.

I guess you're looking for the "organization ID". you can get this ID here

1) login to Experience Cloud

2) go to "Administration"

3) get ID on the right side at the bottom of the table "quick access"

Thank you ishans9314858, you are 100% correct, working to use the APIs (Users right now, Reports in future) where I need to include the global company ID in the URI.

"NOTE: You will need to put the global company id of your company in the API path."

I believe that's the Organization ID. It's different than the company ID required in the URI using API.

Yes, you're right. You need the company ID for the API, not the Organization ID.

jmr56795410 please follow the instructions from ishans9314858 to get the desired ID!

Easiest way to obtain the global company id for the Analytics Company you are currently logged into:

Admin > Company Settings (Menu) > API Access (Tab)
