Question: Do Global Updates to Marketing Channel Processing Rules populate to roll-up report suites?
Scenario: I have 19 report suites that roll-up to a Global Report Suite. When I make changes to our marketing channel processing rules, I make these changes in the Global Report Suite. I recently made a change at the global level that involved me adding a new channel, then assigning to existing channels to this new channel. The rules weren't changed, we just wanted to roll the two existing rules into one Channel.
In one of the report suites (not the Global One), the marketing channel processing rules and the new channel I created had not been updated. As a result, the old Marketing Channels/Channel Names are showing up in the individual report suites and I'm hoping someone can let me know what I need to do to remedy this.
Marketing Channel Manager configurations must be updated first. Take your Global Report Suite (or the report suite you want to use as the template), and select all the report suites you want to apply your template to for Marketing Channel Names.
Once your Marketing Channel Names are mapped across all your Report Suites, you just repeat this process to update all of your Marketing Channel Process Rules.
