Unique Visitors - Daily Values change based on selected Date Range

Hello,

I have a question regarding the "Unique Visitor" Metric.

If have a Freeform Table with Unique Visitors per Day. If I select only one day in the date range of my panel, I get a certain amount of Unique Visitors for that day (let's say 50.000). If I select multiple days in the Date-Range, I get a different number of Unique Visitors for the same day (see below).

I edited the data in the Screenshot, but that's the behaviour I am seeing.

I am aware that Unique User will be cleaned of duplicates in the total of the three day period, but I do not understand why the number of unique visitor on Dec 8. changes if I select a three day period.

Any ideas what I am missing?

Thank you for your answer. I think I figured it out - I had a segment filter in my Table. If I remove it, the numbers are the same

Unfortunately, I can't replicate your results. Even when I ran a 3-day report but added a Date dimension for the 1 day in question, I still got the same numbers for that day.
