It would be great for business continuity to have assets in Analytics tied to the profiles that an organization creates instead of people. Currently, if you don't manually transfer those assets, emailed reports and other data are lost to users who were still using the data. This would also be ideal to help with auto provisioning to make off-boarding users easier and prevent data from being lost if it is tied to a profile. The reports that the user creates can be tied to the profiles they belong to so they can be easily used by others in the profile as well to help with sharing of data.
If you don't know to look to see if a user has data to transfer and just delete them, that data is gone for everyone they shared it with and that causes a larger problem.
