Simplified way to make changes to custom reports

I'd like the ability to edit a custom report from directly within the report; perhaps something similar to how you can edit a dashboard reportlet.  It would save time, since the current process involves making changes to the current report, saving it as a new custom report, and then going into the Admin Console >> Menu Customization section to delete the old version of the report.  Seems like an awful lot of effort, especially if I just want to change a rolling date setting or filter.

If you make changes to the report and then save it as a new Custom Report with the same name, it will over-write the existing one. There's no need to go into Admin, menu customizations unless you want to move or rename it.
