Modify the definition of Time spent on page - bucketed

We have found out that there is a difference between Time spent on page - bucketed and Time spent on page - granular.
The bucketed takes into account only the pages, the granular also takes into account the link events.
In our interpretation the "time spent on page" should take into account the link events.  That means that we can only use the "granular" definition, but the data we receive is almost useless, because almost every page has a different time spent on page, and it becomes impossible to make conclusions of those data.

So we would like to have a dimension "Time spent on page - Bucketed" taking into account the link event (as it is or the granular definition now).

I just looked at Time Spent on Page - Bucketed by "Page View" and by "Occurrences" - the numbers are different...

I then proceeded to break down the buckets by "Custom Link" and I have values for the Occurrences column and no value for Page Views column....

So this shows that Time Spent on Page - Bucketed does in fact include link events....

I can see (like you) that these is a difference between the buckets and the granular... but I wonder if this could be due to rounding...

However, there is no way to change these definitions that I am aware of...
