we commonly process queries in DW which the data dump is around 50-60 mb each. This usually takes 30 hours avg to be processed. We want to suggest that even if we select email as the output (delivery method) naturally it bounced back and the file was deleted from Omniture servers. We had to re-process the queries and we got the files 4 days later.
This file should still be available even for a few days and alert via email and then delete if that is the case.
This could save 4 days of re-processing the data and avoid the delay in delivering the reports.
