The Analytics Data Feed is only available over SFTP to port 22.  It would be more convenient if the user could specify other ports.

Hi,

I am hoping to get some help from you guys as I would like to use the sFTP method for my data feeds.

I do have an adobe ftp account (i.e. ftp.omniture.com which is apparently sFTP ready).

Would you guys be able to provide me with direction for, hostname, DCA and RSA (available in the UI during setup)?

Thanks

For SFTP, please refer to the following document to set up Data Feed via Analytics UI.

https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/reference/t_feed-add.html

The IPs that needs to be whitelisted are documented here. You would need to whitelist all the IPs on the top block.

https://helpx.adobe.com/analytics/kb/adobe-ip-addresses.html

You would need to set up public keys on SFTP to allow Adobe servers to connect. Public keys can be downloaded from Data Feed UI. Refer to SFTP section in the below document.

https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/reference/r_feed-destination.html

Note that public key needs to be uploaded to the SFTP. See the below document. Refer to section "Upload Public key to FTP account (Customer)".

Hi,

Thank you for the prompt response.

Have you tested the sFTP using the Adobe FTP account, i.e. ftp.omniture.com? I am not entirely sure what to add as the hostname.

From what i understand it will have to be: sftp.omniture.com or sftp2.omniture.com

Path: {{path of the folder}}

username: {{username}}

I would then need to download the RSA public key (available during setup) and store it on the Adobe FTP account level (i.e. under the name of authorized_keys) as well as onto my machines so i can connect, Is that correct?

Thanks
