Tracking the payment status

I have an eCommerce website after adding products in cart, payment process redirected to other payment gateway where users have to make payment. My problem is that I want to track payment failure and success status in analytics. Can anyone suggest me how I can check this in analytics ?

You'll want to ensure that the payment processor passes some sort of information back to your site. If you're able to do that, you can set custom events that increment on success or fail.

Do you know if your payment processor has this capability?
