Mapping an old Analytics ID to new One

Hi - we are making some systems updates and one of the data sets that is changing is the analytics id generate for a user. We pass this into Adobe as the unique user key. I don't want to lose historical data when we generate the new ids for existing users. Is there a way to do a one-time mapping of old to new id so we can update the id and keep history?

Do you have separate ID for Analytics? Or marketing cloud ID you are referring to? Kindly advice.
