Eperience with Matomo?

Hi there,

my employer would like to evaluate the pros and cons... Adobe Analytics versus Matomo (open-source).

Has anyone used Matomo previously and can share in which areas Adobe Analytics works much better?

Hi Stefanie,

I would also be interested to hear about this in what has become a 2 horse race analytics race.

I have never seen it in action however I can see why it would be very compelling tool in in a small data driven business. However for my business I we would need the hosted solution - which whilst nearly half the price of Adobe would only have 30 custom dimensions. I don't know about your company, but we use around 150 of these. A similar story with events.
