I've been getting this error frequently.  The Java console says:

[10765 ERROR javawsApplicationMain ClientStartupHelper] Error authenticating with Oberon after successful IMS

Hi Andrew, is it an intermittent error, meaning you're eventually able to get in? Or is it an error that effectively prevents you from using ad hoc?

Yes it is Intermittent. I rolled back the version of Java I was using and haven't had many problems since then. Now I am getting the problem again today and can't login.
