UTM Parameters allow you to segment the website visitors based on the traffic source and at campaign level. You can use use parameters for several reasons. For example, Tracking campaign performance, Improving ROI, Understanding user behavior, Custom reporting, A/B testing, etc.
Custom building segments is one of the most powerful features available in Workspace. One thing that many people don't realize is that you can build segments with larger containers inside smaller ones. My personal favourite is the visit-in-hit segment.
