Segment building tips for homepage > Site exit

Hello,

We have launched a new homepage design and we have several links to encourage users to make actions (search, initiating a purchase...)

I would like to build a monitoring dashboard that could provide to stakeholders a kind of heat map :

Out of 1000 unique visitors who had the homepage as entry :

  • 200 exited the website
  • 400 made an internal search
  • 150 initiated a checkout
  • 80 went to another site section...

To do so, I would like to build some sequential segments (within 1 page view) so I was questioning myself how I can do for "homepage > site exit" ?

My first thought was to create a visit segment as below :

Entry page = Homepage (logic group

Then within 1 page-view

Page does not exist

I was expecting to see approximately the same proportion than on the flow analysis report but it is not the case.

Did I build the segment the wrong way ?

Thank you for your help,
