Hey Sara, for each Job Role, the formula is as follows:

(sum of (FTE x Initiative months) across all Initiatives) / (available FTE x months in Plan). Here's an example:

We have 3 Account Managers and 2 Designers available for a 12 month plan. The first Initiative is 6 months and uses 1 Account Manager the whole time; the second Initiative is 12 months, and uses 1 Account Manager and 1 Designer.

Account Manager utilization = ( (1 x 6) + (1 x 12) ) / (3 x 12) = 18/36 = 50%

Designer = (1 x 12) / (2 x 12) = 12 / 24 = 50%

Hope this helps!

Hello! I need a quick refresher on what the formula is behind the Utilization field in the Scenario Planner Job Role section? Thank you!
