Hello <LI-USER uid="15411799"></LI-USER> ,

There are 2 ways to do this.

If you have adobe analytics then you can use the Experience triggers to trigger the cart abandonment emails. More details are available here : https://helpx.adobe.com/campaign/kb/triggers-and-campaign.html

If you are using Campaign classic only without analytics then you can use the message center to trigger this email. As you mentioned there will be a webservice in place to pull the cart item data. Use you can use the webservice to trigger a transaction message via a SOAP API call. More details are available here: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/campaign-classic/using/transactional-messaging/introduction/event-description.html

Let me know if that helps.

Hi, we want to set up an automated cart abandonment program whereby the abandoned cart items are pulled in automatically from a webservice (in our case the ticketing system) into an email, which is then sent automatically to the patron.

How would we best do this?

Thanks

Katrin

Hi Katrin,

You can create a workflow in Adobe campaign starts with a signal activity. This signal will get triggered from a webservice call (with cart items as payload, also email of Patron for linking) whenever someone abandoned cart. This way you access cart items(as variable) in your delivery added further in the workflow.

I am assuming that Patron adding items in the cart are already present in recipient table.
