Solved

We currently have Marketo synchronized with SugarCRM, not Salesforce. We would like to send an alert email to the sales rep when a Lead visits specific web pages.  I figured out how to do this with the Lead Owner, but I cannot figure out how to assign the Lead Owner.  So, two strategies / questions:1. How do you assign the Lead Owner in Marketo?  Based on my reading, it looks like Lead Owner is restricted to Salesforce - and we use SugarCRM instead of Salesforce.2. Alternately, how do you create a Marketo Smart Campaign that sends an email alert, where the "To" address of the email alert is another Marketo field value besides Lead Owner or Account Owner? Thanks very much.

When creating 2 or more items to ParamsGetMObjects.mObjCriteriaList, what is the logical relation between the criteria?

I am setting up alerts in Marketo, and would like to allow those who get the alerts to click directly on a link in the alert that takes them to the company record in SFDC.I know this is possible at the lead level, using the following format:na7.salesforce.com/{{lead.SFDC Id:default=}}Is it possible to code a URL similarly so that clicking on it takes the person to the SFDC account/company record?

I feel stupid for asking this, but how do I make Acquisition Program field visible in SFDC Lead and Contact pages?

I want to be able to add people to a list if they have clicked a link in and email that goes to a Marketo Landing Page. I'm trying to build a smart Campaign: Smart List: Clicks Link is (landing page - http://leads....) Flow: Add to List ____ I keep getting a message that says Invalid value for link name. I've tried the clicks link and clicked link in email trigger and filter, and I keep getting the same message. Do I have to do something so that the landign page URL is recognized as a link?

We are currently seeing alot of inconsistencies for "Opens" of emails from Marketo Sales Insight.1. Open not logged, but Click is2. Testing an email, we open it, but it still shows up as not openedIs anyone else seeing this weird behavior?

Hi, Every odd month we are sending our corporate newsletter to the full DB and up until this month we have never experienced a single issue. This time I have sent my campaign on May, 15 and these are stats from today: Is that normal that I still have that many emails? I have found in another thread the following comment:Under no circumstance should a message remain in pending for more than 24 hours unless there is something technically wrong. If there was a technical failure, some messages will always show as pending even though the mailing has actually failed and will not be resent. Support can let you know if this is the case, and assist you in troubleshooting and resolving the issue. (source: https://community.marketo.com/MarketoDiscussionDetail?id=90650000000PMgtAAG) Do I have to resend email to the pending or will the email go out one day? If I have to resend, what should I add? was not delivered? Thanks. Cécile @ Talend

Can anyone tell me if a landing page template can be coded to extend beyond the fold in a landing page as you add html content? And if so does someone have code to share? Thanks!David

Has anyone tried software solutions like Broadlook or eGrabber to search online for contact information? What has your experience been? My sales team is currently looking at both of these solutions and I am just trying to gather some more information. Thanks!

I can only find a way to do this on a daily schedule but would like to have the email sent immediately.

My team wants to remove the thank you page between submitting a form and seeing a white paper PDF, so that clicking the submit button opens the PDF directly. I know how to do that fine, but the problem is that I can't embed our Google Adwords conversion code in the PDF. Does anyone know how to run the adwords conversion code when the user clicks the submit button on the form?

Hi,Can anyone tell me which API call is used to sync salesforce to Marketo.

Marketo logs a lot of activities in Salesforce.com like "Was sent email" and such. But we would also like to log an activity (completed task) when a lead enters and exits a program. Currently I'm doing this in the programs themselves (the ones I create). But it would be much easier to have a generic setting for this. E.g. added to program is any = create the task with {{programname}}. However both variables are not available! Any suggestion?

Hello,I ran an email campaign today morning and it soft bounced for every member of the list. What could be the possible reason ?

Hi,If I want to target people whose preferred language is French OR live in France AND work in Finance AND are not in the Competitors Smart List. I've tried that first smartlist, puting the filter "member of smartlist is NOT Competitors" after the filters ("Preffered language = French" OR "Country = France") 2. Then I've tried another smart list with the filter "member of smartlist is NOT Competitors" before the filters ("Preffered language = French" OR "Country = France")   And the number of leads are very different! This error appears only when I use the filter "member of Smart List" , with at least 4 filters and advanced filters including a (x OR y).Is there any explanation of why it happens? What is the good practice?Thank you!Marie

Hi Marketo Community, I remember seeing a presentation that discussed how to implement a more advanced ability to personalize documents based on their profile and on what that user has previously read. It involved using formulas in Salesforce. Basically you would set a document that was downloads with a -500 score, then the calculation would set the next relevant asset for the user.  Does anybody know where that is?Many thanks

Hi,Is it possible to retrieve interesting moments through the SOAP API?Can we do it with a call to getLeadChanges? We don't have interesting moments set up yet, I am just trying to get an idea of what's involved to integrate it with our CRM system (not Saleforce). Many thanksSteve Riddett

This article was shared with me today, I didn't know there was a way to prevent this. Is anyone actively using something like this? If so I'd love to hear about it... I want to do it!litmus.com/blog/preventing-unsubscribes-in-forwarded-emails

While my account owners are all correct assigned, I have contacts that have are not assigned to accounts.  How do I change the name of the contact owner in Marketo?

This may be basic.... but I wanted to double-check with the esteemed community.  Are webhooks executed on A. indvidiual leads or on B. lists of leads?  I believe it is "A" and if I want "B", it will be processed one at a time.  Is that right? Thanks in advance,- dmitry

We recently had an employee leave our company and unfortunately, all of the webinar invites etc have her email listed as the reply-to and same with the .ics files. Is there an easy way to mass change this? I wish Marketo could pick-up on the fact that that email is no longer valid...?

I could have sworn that we used to have a "Registration Code" field that displayed the registration code for GoToWebinar registrants, but I can no longer find it.  I know that the {{member.registration code}} token will display that code in the email sent to the lead, but is there a way to see it without sending an email to the lead?  We want to send him an Outlook email with his unique link to join the webinar and a link to add the webinar to his calendar using the GTW link that generates a calendar entry (https://www2.gotomeeting.com/synchOutlook?wid=xxxxxxxxx&uid=xxxxxxxx), but without his code, we can only send the code via MLM.

I send email messages to prospects in various industries and have been noticing pretty big differences in open rates across industries. For example, my open rates for higher education are much higher than K12. I can think of a few reasons for this and I haven't yet run a controlled experiement but I am curious if anyone else has seen differences in open rates across industries.

Hi,Every odd month I am sending our Corporate Newsletter in 4 different languages. Each version includes a series of links to multiple landing pages. For each mailing I need to create a unique campaign that will add an interesting moment to any engaged leads and that will push info to our CRM. The issue that I have is that I have to manually find and enter the webpage names and links (see screenshot below). Not only this is taking time but I may forget some links. Is it possible to say something like if lead has clicked on any links inside the emailing + has filled out any of the forms inside the emailing = member of smart list?Cécile @ Talend
