How does someone choose multiple fields from a value list in a form?

We are sending out an email that referes to a company name that is a web domain (e.g. Ancestry.com).  When the email is sent, Marketo or the receiving client is converting the name into a link, which is not desired.  Is there a way to insert some type of HTML code that will prevent this?

Hi,We setup the Salesforce integration with Marketo and it appears that all of the Salesforce leads were synched over to Marketo, but none of the Marketo leads were synched to Salesforce. We can manually synch a list of leads via the Flow Action, but the recently imported leads to do not synch automatically. As anyone else had this issue? Is there something that we are missing?Thanks,Tricia

Programs and Smart Campaigns seem to have the same functionality to me. I'm not sure how they are different?I have set up a 6 part email drip campaign using 6 different smart campaigns. Since setting this up, I have read that Programs are the preferred way of deploying drip campaigns. Can someone explain to me what the different is, as well as the advantages to deploying drip campaigns through Programs versus Smart Campaigns?

Hi, Today I'm creating for the first time an engagement program. According to this article, the first step is really straight forward. However I'm already stuck! The channel field is mandatory. I see no choice when I click on the drop down list and when I try to enter a channel used for our regular program, it says that channel doesn't exist (even if I have triple-checked that I have written it correctly). Do we have to create specific channels or change something into our existing channel? Or can I just clone an existing program and then somewhere change status to "engagement program"... thanks;   Cécile @ Talend

Does anyone know if it's possible to set up a campaign that sends a Birthday Sales Alert a couple of days before the lead actually has their birthday to let the lead owner know that it's coming up?

I'm archiving some campaigns in Marketo and most of these are synced to SFDC.  How do you archive the campaigns in SFDC?  Someone told me at work that you can't archive campaigns in SFDC and is that correct?  If you can archive in SFDC what's the best way to do it?

With the release of text only emails, I think it'd be great if I added this option to my preference center.The problem is, I don't want to have to remember to pull a smart list of who wanted text-only every time I send an email and have it send a seperately created text email to those folks. Am I just overlooking something? Is there an easy way that this can be done or are we not there yet?Thanks!

We are doing a kind of marketing survey on our website, using embeded Marketo formsthe survey is spread across 2 forms which should follow one another in a successionThe problem is that when i fill in the first form and proceed to the second one, marketo doesn't "realize" i'm the same person and does not combine the infomration, i've filled in in form1 and form2 together in my lead entryis there a way to solve this w/o migrating to marketo landing pages (that would be rather complicated at this stage)

Hi all,I'm having some trouble with my Landing Page template preview. When the code is rendered in a browser, it appears perfectly normal. However, when viewing in Marketo in the Template Preview, I get a broken page that is impossible to work in: Exact same code, does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing this? I'd really appreciate it.

Well I've searched all through the community here and racked my brain trying to figure this out, but I'm at a loss. I have a very simple Marketo form (email only) on a teaser page of a subdomain and it will not validate. I've placed lots of Marketo forms on pages of my main site and have never had a problem, so I think there may be some sort of conflict with the WP theme on this subdomain.Here is the teaser page and form: http://new.symform.com/Note that if you click submit it goes through with no validation. I've heard that it's not good to suddently email the same domain (@company.com) with lots of email because it could raise a red flag on the email filters of the domain - and some/all may get blocked as spam. How big of an issue is this really? Marketo seems unconcerned with the issue especially with the design of engagement program where all emails are sent at the same time via a cast, regardless of domain considerations (or are they doing something in the back end)? If I deactivate a smart campaign, will existing leads in the campaign continue to move through the flow?I want this to happen, just don't want new leads to enter this campaign.Thank you.

I'm used having each email campaign in Marketo being mapped to a specific campaign in SFDC.Moving to an angagement Program, I'm struggling with how properly align with campaigns in SFDC. Sending everyone to one campaign called "Engagement" seems meaningless because there will be so many members getting all kinds of different content.Am I limited to only having Programs as Content in the stream, with all of the campaign logic embedded?How are other handling this?

With the new unsubscribe token, I'm curious how this works with the settings in the admin section.I will want to use this new feature for some emails but for the majority, I still want the unsubscribe text footer included in the emails. Is there a way to just remove this from those you are adding the link to? Or do you have it in every email still but ALSO include the token in some?

In regards to engagement programs, what is the best practice for the different streams? Is it best to have early - mid - late streams (etc) in one program? Or is there some reason it would be better to have them as different programs?Also, at the end of the last stream, what is a good practice? Do they automatically get removed from the flow?

I'm trying to link to a custom CSS file to gain some additional styling control over my iframed form. I added a call in the <head> to load the CSS in the markup for the template that I'm using, but even after it saves the call to the CSS disappears when previewing the template or viewing the source.So I then added a HTML snippet to the Landing Page that called the CSS and save it, but again when previewing and looking at the source of the completed form, there is nothing there.Am I missing a step or doing something wrong? 

For our webinars, I like the statuses provided by Marketo, but would like to add one more of "Not Interested" to allow anyone not interested in that specific webinar to move out of the flow of receiving any more emails.  Does anyone know if this is possible to add or if there is a workaround I should be using?  Thanks!

What function if any, does the SFDC "Campaign Status" play in Marketo Programs synced to SFDC Campaigns?    In other words, does an SFDC campaign with status "Planned" function differently than one with "In Progress"  or are those values just information we can use for whatever purpose we like?
