Hi, If I have a user1 & user2. I want user 1 to see few parts (say <div id=1>) on the page & user2 to see few parts on the page (<div id=2>).Any idea how to do this?Thanks,Sudhin

Hi,    When I create a page using Page Manager ,page will be created with properties "cq:template" and "sling:resourceType" .Resource type will be obtained anyway with the template we are gng to pass as a parameter while creating the page. Can I create a page without "sling:resourceType" property .So that if I change the resource type of the template in the future ,that doesn't effect  my content ? (I have lot pages .I cant change the resource type of each if template is changed) Thanks,Krishna

we have DAM assets loading(attached screenshot) on the author and does not show the image.....it was a old issue in cq 5.3 and i had to restart this bundle to fix it....   "Day Communique 5 Workflow Consolecom.day.cq.workflow.cq-workflow-console"We are experiencing same issue on CQ 5.5, anyone know how to fix this?

Can anyone tell me why http://localhost:4502/ works perfectly fine but http://127.0.0.1:4502/ fails to authenticate? This is causing authentication issues with a json response in an http request to a specific IP in test.  At first I thought there was a header issue, but quickly found out I can't even log in to my local using my local IP so it must be something else, any ideas much appreciated.

Hi,we have forgot password link in app wherein we need to retrieve the original password and mail the password in plan text to the end user.user password is stored in encrypted format in CRX (/home/users/), so is there any CQ / Sling API to decrypt the password? OR is there any other way to implement the forgot / reset password in app? thanks.

Hi,I have a requirement wherein I need to search for article pages of a specific type under 6 different paths. The pages belonging to 6 different paths are of same type in a way that they are using same template. Their respective parent pages are also using the same template but they differ based on specific custom page property that we are setting. The detailed pages are further characterized by custom page properties. So based on these custom page properties and latest replication date I have to select one article each(making it a total 6 article pages) among all the article pages that belong to 6 different paths. What is the best way possible ? Using QueryBuilder API or fetching the pages using the listChildren method and then tweaking the list to remove the unwanted selections. Also, could you please explain the reason as well.Edit: Is it possible to restrict the number of results returned by QueryBuilder API.Thanks in advance,Ankit Chandrawat

I have tried  to  package share and downloaded and  installed crx2sharepoint-crx21-2.0.2.zip  file .  BUut as per document  it is said that sharepoint connector should display in home/welcome page.Please let me know the correct does sharepoint connector support AEM 5.6.1  and if its support then let me know the exact process. Thanks,

I need to find a way to either create a single sign-on (preferred) or a way to share/pass user credentials between an Adobe Publish site and an AEM site (same domain). Hi friends, Since last month am working in CQ5.I have used content loader in cq5.4 to upload the xml as node structure in JCR repository.When doing this i came to know that the content loader supports only CQ Support XMLs not DITA XML.So i want to know the procedure to convert the XML to CQ XML.Please provide me a solution. Thanks in advance

Can anybody suggest me i want use adobe drive to store images and i want to access the images for my cq5.4 instance..I want to integrate drive to the cq5.4 dam for ignoring the dam burden on cq5 instance repository.. Is it possible to use this drive? or is there any other way i can achieve my task? Thanks,Sony C.

Because some of my JSPs reference /libs/foundation/global.jsp, I had to include that file in the compilation. And because one of my JSPs overrides one of the /libs/foundations/components JSPs, I had to include that, too, which of course introduced a bunch of additional dependencies that I needed to resolve.I painstakingly added the necessary dependencies to the pom.xml file, attempting to build each time and using the "depfind" feature to figure out which one to add every time I got a compilation error that a particular class could not be resolved. Hi,I copied over a website from a co-worker to my CQ instance (5.6.2 I think) and I have the problem that I can neither see the client context (+ shortcut doesn't do anything), nor does the component work that I'm supposed to fix. It shows up in the list but when I drag it onto the page it doesn't show up (it does appear as a JCR node though). Not sure if these problems are even related but I know that both things work on my colleagues machine. I realize you guys can probably not help me without further information, but could you tell me a general approach in AEM to tackle these kind of things? Like on machine A it works, on machine B it doesn't. Is there some kind of logs or console etc. I should check? Hi,I wanted to know is there any limit on the size to put into any String[] Array as a property into Adobe CRX for any given node?I have a requirement for adding large number of data as String[] array as Multivalue for one property in crx.I am getting exception and suspect that this is because CQ is not supporting so many data in a single property?Can you please suggest?Thanks.

Hi,I have 1 custom metadata, named 'Corporate users' , it has 3 check boxes  shown in the screen shot[img]checkbox.PNG[/img].I have added 1 property, allowBlanks=false. I am planning to have 2 check box groups here. 1st group will contain , only 1 check box and next group will contain remaining 2 check boxes. My requirement is that, if I check the check box from group 1, it will disable check boxes of group2 and vice versa. Please suggest.Thanks,Debal Das
