Hi,We have a requirement that, We need to create around 200 users with different DAM folder permissions. Is there any way we can create these users and rep:policies via java program rather than useradmin. The  problem with useradmin approach is in our case,  One folder will have around 100 sub level folders and we need to create each user with each sublevel folder. In this scenario, When i select parent folder it automatically selects the sublevel folders(around 100) and deselecting the other 99 folders for one user is very tough.Our Client also not happy with this approach. So is there any other way we can achieve this scenario or is there any way i can implement a script with some api to create these users which will include these permissions as well. Thanks,Manikanta.

Is there way to use one template to create two pages. Each page should enable certain components only to that page in the sidekick. I know about templates and design mode global configuration specific to the template. I would like to validate it with you guys. Should we create two different templates even the pages are very similar.Thanks in advance,

I have modified the CQ’s rich text editor with the special char plugins. But the issue is, this includes the html source editing plugin also. I don’t want to include that in my rich text editor. Is there any way that I can include special chars but not html source editing. Basically i don’t want the html editing option in RTE.

We have heard from those that have migrated that ACL migration is not easy with the new security standards in AEM 6.1.   Some are reporting lost ACLs that thye have to recreate.  This is not acceptable for our migration.  We have a very large ACL and need to migrate this into the new secure standards (secured hash for paths, etc).  What is the right way to do this?  Will ACS Commons ACL Package help?

What is the best way to measure the length of time it takes to sync the from the active instance to the standby instance? Hi,We have implemented personalization and now we were trying to create the teaser for the page. In mcmadmin screen, I create a Brand, then a campaign, then in campaign we create a teaser. Clicked on campaign and then clicked on "New", it showed me options for various templates available for use. I am not able to see any template to create a teaser. It is even shown in the article available at: https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/author/personalization/campaigns/teasers-and-strategies.htmlbut the teaser template is not available to me. Hi All,I have created one custom workflow dialog by using xtype "multifield", but I have to setup dynamic values to the widget before dialog activate, i am making ajax call through listeners and getting values but, not able to set the values to the field. When i try to add with listeners the field object is coming but the setvalue() and getValue() methods are not working.And I am not able to getting the dialog path i tried "dialog.responseScope.path" but the value is coming as "undefined".I tried with the loadcontent and beforeshow listeners but these are not calling only beforerender listener is working.1.  Hi I have the following dialog where I have 4 tabs. 2 tabs have images. Tab1 , when an image is dropped into it, In the dialog the dropped image image still shows. I also do this with Tab3. I close the dialog and reopen it. There is now no image in the dialog tab "tab1". However the image I dropped in Tab3 is visible. However in both tab1 and tab 3 there is an icon "!" for image info, in Tab1 if selected it shows a link to the image I dropped into it, the same for tab3.In my jsp page I can get the Tab1 image using the following codeimage = new Image(resource, "replacementimage");andimage2 = new Image(resource, "mobileimage");If I change"requestSuffix": "/replacementimage.img.png", in tab1 to"requestSuffix": "/mobileimage.img.png",Then as I expected in the dialog tab 1 shows tab3 image. I was planning use 6 different tab images. Hi,I am currently working on a project and needs help in using the Granite UI components.We were initially using Classic UI to perform all the activities and were able to develop the page as per the requirement of the client. Now client asks to implement Granite UI based components. I have checked on the internet alot but could not find anything that would help. I would need clarifications on the below questions.1. What is the difference/advantage of using Granite UI over classic UI?2. Are granite UI components to be used in dialogs only? I have found few helpx articles that use the granite UI components while creating dialogs ONLY.3. Hi, I have an AEM project with a template. When I change the designPath via the page properties to any design available under /etc/designs/, the new clientlibs are not being used. I can see in chrome developer mode that they are not even loaded. There are no errors coming up. I've tried applying a different design to several of my projects (on 5.6.1 and 6.0) and it ONLY ever works with Geometrixx.What do I need to do in order to use this functionality?Any help is really appreciated because this is a vital functionality for us. Thanks, Alex

Is it possible to capture when a dialog's ok button is pressed in JSP code?For example: Let's say I have a component with a parsys and I drag in a component with multiple fields in its dialog.The author fills out the dialog form and pressed the OK button. I take action on the values they entered and now want to clear their entry so when my code checks for that value again it won't take the action a second time. Can I know when they finish editing that new component using its dialog and clear the fields?

About to start an assessment on specific search requirements that what we would get from AEM 6.x (6.0 and 6.1) search OOB. What I could gather so far is that all the features of Synonym, spell check, relevance / boosting, Highlighting etc..which were available in AE 5.6.1 is not available in AEM 6.0 SP2  or 6.1.
