I installed AWS SDK bundle from http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.apache.servicemix.bundles/org.apache.servicemix.bundles.aws-java-sdk into CQ5.6.1,this code line works well in my component jsp file,com.amazonaws.auth.AWSCredentials mycredential = new com.amazonaws.auth.BasicAWSCredentials(key1,key2);But I installed the same bundle into CQ6.1, and confirmed the bundle is active from system/console, but still got error saying"Could not initialize class com.amazonaws.ClientConfiguraiton" .Something change in CQ6.1 cause this problem ?

I am setting up AEM 6.1 and would like to be able to pull assets from an external AEM 6.1 author that is acting as our DAM via the content finder.I have not been able to find information on how to do this, beyond setting up a shared binary store.ThanksCharles

Is there a proven Unit testing framework available for AEM?

New install of AEM, so syncing images from Scene7 has never worked correctly. When we upload directly to the AEM DAM, images are correctly compressed. When we upload images directly to Scene7, the images are correctly compressed, as well. However, when AEM syncs with Scene7, the images display extreme compression. Our integrator knew very little about Scene7, and now we’re unsure where to look for a solution. Is it possible to determine where we can turn off the extra compression?

Hi All,We are trying to address a weird problem. Suggestions are welcome. We have a custom component (Social Share) that does not show up correctly in Production Publish instance only. In all other environments DEV, QA the component works as expected across both author and publish instances.Production instance is managed by another team and we have very limited access to it. I want to send an email notification wen a page is activated, but there are also modifications since the last activation.For now, we have implemented an event handler that detects the ACTIVATE events.Is there a way to check if the page has also been modified since the last activation? Thanks

I need help in understanding the asset share and editor pages as mentioned here in this link https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/administer/content/assets/assets-finder-editor.html. We have requirements that the users of the central application can also upload/edit/remove assets along with viewing and searching them but does that mean that this asset share should only be accessible on DAM author box and not on publish boxes?  The asset share has OOTB components like upload new assets and update metadata, how it is conceived to be used ?

I am experimenting with being able to autopopulate form fields on a form. I am trying this on the "Application for Assistance Form" in the Geometrixx-Gov site. I added a new dropdown box named "Color" with items 0=red 1=blue and I created a Text Box under the drop down list. What I want to accomplish is when the user selects "Red" as an option, the text box automatically populates to "Red"

Hello,Usually the thumbnails of the wider images i.e. resolution 1778*600 or 3200*600 appear very blurry on the list and column view of the touch UI. The rendition 319*319, which gets rendered on the list view, seems to have a fixed width and its height adjusted according to the original aspect ratio. Since the rows are of fix width and height, some of these wider images appear skewed and blurry. Is there any hot-fix present for this problem?Has anyone faced this issue and can share some thoughts on the solution, would be great.Thanks.

Is it possible to override a sightly template?  For example, if under /apps/myApp/components/carousel I have "slideTemplate.html" and then i have another component under /apps/myApp/components/another-carousel whose resourceSuperType is the original carousel, I would like to be able to specify a file with the same name (slideTemplate.html) but a give it a different HTML markup.  In my testing I haven't been able to make it work so I'm wondering if I am doing something incorrectly or if it's not supported.Thanks in advance.

I have a rather complicated query that fails on a search for the property "hideInNav." I'm trying to get all pages where this is not true, but I can't figure out the operation that accomplishes this.I've tried the following:2_property=hideInNav2_property.operation=like2_property.1_value=%2_property.2_value=falseand2_property=hideInNav2_property.operation=unequals2_property.value=trueNeither returns the list of pages I'm looking for. If the hideInNav property hasn't been set, it seems that there's no ability query on it.

Hi,  I want to authenticate Salesforce user credential from CQ using API.Can you please give me any example or steps to do it? I searched api and found com.adobe.cq.mcm.salesforceSalesforceSecretServlet.  It says: The SalesforceSecretServlet connects to the specified Salesforce instance and validates the request. It seems I need to override the doGet() method. However I am not getting how to pass salesforce user name and password to authenticate using this API.My requirement is to first authenticate a given salesforce user in in CQ code and once authenticated, then access logged in user's data from salesforce into CQ. I got this url online but this is thru AEM console for a given user. Hi,As we know that, CRX automatically runs Tar PM optimization between 2 am and 5 am and we can configure the timing as well. It works in daily basis.Can we configure this Tar PM optimization once per week?We are using CQ5.4 . Please suggest. Thanks,Debal

Has anyone attempted adding custom search filters in the Assets section in the Content Finder?I had a look at adding a new item similar to /libs/wcm/core/content/editor/jcr:content/sidepanels/edit/items/assetsTab/items/filterPanel/items/views/items/search/items/searchpanel/items/paragraphpath but to no avail. Searching through the documentation on adding a custom filter (i.e. searching for custom components rather than Paragraphs) didn't turn up anything.I also had a look at https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/administer/content/assets/custom-search-facets.html but couldn't find any concrete ideas or starting points.Thanks,Zoran
