Hi,When I am trying to modify my search indexing configurations on my 5.4 instance, as mentioned in the following links: https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kb/SearchIndexingConfig.html and http://wiki.apache.org/jackrabbit/IndexingConfiguration.\ I found two index folders under the following locations. <crx-quickstart>\repository\repository\index.<crx-quickstart>\repository\worskpaces\crx.default\index. I wanted to know where the actual indexing happens. Thank you.

Specifically - if I configure a Segment from data in the ClientContext, can I apply the Segment to a Page outside a Campaign?

Hi guys,I am creating/editing a package via package manager. There is a setting called "AC Handling" in the "Advanced" tab.What is the default behaviour of  "AC Handling"  if I don't select any item from the drop down list and leave it empty?Will the behaviour as Ignore/overwrite etc?Thanks

Hi, I have created a custom XTYPE that allow users to select a path from the repository, and am trying to use this in content Finder by adding this XTYPE as filter. This XTYPE returns me the selected path, but I further want to filter data (assets) based on the selected path. Could anyone help me with the approach/sample code to refer to. How i can achieve Key, value pair.Ex : I have two textfield.am entering numeric value in first textfieldand some values in second textfield.I need to link first textfield as Key and Second textfield as Value.for easy retrieval.In First textfield am entering 1(key) and Second textfield am entering Welcome to my Page(value).If i press 1 Values has to show.Please need to some inputs.

Hi guys,I'd like to transfer users with assgined groups to another AEM author node(AEM6 with SP2).My steps list below1. Create path "myusers" under /home/users/ in CRX via crxde lite2. Go to  useradmin create new user named "test-user", choose path "/home/users/myusers/", and set "Administrators" grouop to it.3. Build a package from package manager with settings:    Filter Root Path: /home/users/myusers    Rules exclude: /home/users/myusers/.*/.tokens    AC Handling: Ignore/Overwrite/Merge4. Upload/Install this built package to another AEM author node.Here is the problem: the user "test-user" is imported , however the group "Administrators" is not set with it.In Step 3 I have tried these 3 AC Handling options ,none of them works.Any idea?  And where are the group and user relationships stored?Thanks a lot,Dale

HiI'm running CQ 5.6.0 and currently have PDF DAM assets that are externally searchable via internet search engines. I would like to be able to customise the DAM so that I can define at an asset level whether or not a particular asset should be searchable in Google, Bing etc.My plan is to create a property at the asset level which, once selected, adds the path to a NoRobots.txt file.My questions are: How do I create a property per DAM asset for a NoRobots flag?How do I create a NoRobots.txt file that can be populated with pages from 'Sites' as well as the DAM?Is there a better way of acheiving the same result?Many thanks in advanceFabio

Hi, We did an inplace upgrade on existing 5.6.1 author instance to 6.1.  We followed all the steps as mentioned in the instructions, however we saw that during the upgrade few of the Adobe social communites package were not installed. And then when the upgrade was finished we checked that many OSGI bundles which were dependent on social comm. bundles were not started. We tried to install the cq-social-commons-pkg-1.5.151.zip package manually and got the following exception below. When i upload a 1200x907 image using the OOTB image upload workflow, it created the following renditions. cq5dam.thumbnail.48.48.png cq5dam.thumbnail.140.100.pngcq5dam.thumbnail.319.319.pngcq5dam.web.1280.1280.jpegBut the 1280.1280 rendition was not actually 1280.1280 but 1200.907 which is the actual size of imageSimilarly when i upload an image of 2000x650 the rendition of 1280x1280 is actually 1280x416px. When i upload a 160x160 image the 1280x 1280 rendition is actually 160x160 only. if failed to generate the 1280x1280Is there a way i can generate a 1280x1280 image from 2000x650 image? Similarly how can i generate a 720 x flexible - rendition. Also similarly how do i generate large rendition of small images?What are the limitations of the out of the box workflows and Thumbnail generator. 

Query - How to set a default value for a radio button ?Scenario ...I have a radio button that has two values. It has two value no=No , yes=Yes and field name is testRadioButtonI want to use this for the basis of hiding some other field. But I need to show it at time of form load. Whet I use an expression testRadioButton.value == "yes" in the field that I need to show/hide, It works fine except that it is always hidden on form load. I found that it is hidden because the value is not set for the radio button.Note: If I put a value no in Value field, it is used for pre-populating in edit node ONLYAnother related thing.... documentation referes to something called ... "Initialization Script" but I cant seem to find it in the actual form. What could I be missing/KS

Is it really impossible to upload more than one image at a time to the Slideshow component? What if I have 20 images to upload, five times a day, five days a week?

Hi here.So the long process of copying site to the test server finally is fine except some minor things.1 is:In 4502 all digital assets are available. but on 4503 some not. Error 404.In the replication log, the image is listed as activated.The dispatcher allows all image types. Any clue?Thanks,Xena.

We have a requirement in our project that we need to pass request parameters with the vanity url.So if the vanity url of a page is /vanityurl; the parameter attached would be /vanityurl?param=1&param=b; and the vanity url should get resolved to the page with the parameters and the url in the browser should remain as /vanityurl?param=1&param=bIs this feasible ? Any pointers will be highly appreciated.

I have overlaid table/ rte  plugins for some enhanced features, it works fine when I use it on components. However not all the sites on this server require those enhanced features,Is there any way to configure these overlaid functions based on the site. By default all sites use the out of box rte plugins, unless we specify.I thought of putting this plugins in /apps/<mysite>/cq/ui/..... resolve the problem, but it didn't. I still see that all the sites use the overlaid features

Hello everyone,Quite a lot of system users are created when upgrading to 6.1. A lot of them cannot be deleted via the user admin interface. Can these users be deleted via the CRX Explorer (e.q. deleting the /home/users/system folder) or will the system break?
